We were fortunate enough to be told about the cafe from the owner of another shop in town who even offered to ring Claire on our behalf to see if she was still open at 5.30pm, She was, and told us that even if she'd been shut she would have opened again to serve us! How about that for service? However, this was only for starters: the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive; the menu of home made cakes mouth watering and honestly the best I've ever tasted- but on top of this was the genuine passion and commitment Claire has for what she does, not only for her cooking but for the unique and personal service she offers everyone. We left feeling like we had met old friends."

Claire, the owner, is passionate about coffee: the quality of the blend, the care of the beans and serving the coffee are all important to her. If you are unsure of which coffee to choose, Claire is usually on hand to provide some friendly advice. What's more, she has also had created 2 unique blends of coffee, which can only be bought from '10 The Coffee House'. One of these coffees has been blended to be light and refreshing, and smooth enough to drink at any time of the day. Indeed, many customers who previously were not keen on coffee, have found this to be extremely palatable and pleasant, and are now happily converted!
From witnessing the careful grinding of the aromatic coffee beans , to having the aromatic coffee served to you in a handsome, individual cafetiere, the coffee experience at 10 is reminiscent of an ancient, Eastern Tea Ritual! Partaking in this 'ritual' does require a degree of patience; however, we can assure you that the few minutes wait whilst your chosen coffee is prepared is very well rewarded.....Perfection never tasted so good!

No..10 also offers a selection of fine, loose leaf tea, full of aroma and flavour. Each cup receives the same care and attention to its preparation and service. Once this clean fresh tea is tasted, customers often never use a humble tea bag,, again!
And don't forget....you can choose from a mouth-watering selection of home made cakes, each one freshly baked by hand each day by Claire. A sumptuous assortment of tantalising flavours to suit your mood, and your taste buds. Enjoy!
